Tent Show Troubadours played 4-7 p.m. at Tyranena Brewing Co.in Lake Mills. Great beer, great brisket from Daddy O's BBQ, and a great music (if we do say...). The big band of Bob Hoot, Geri Hamilton, Wendy Lynn Markus, John Hamilton, Doug McLeod, and Tom Ellis had 'em dancing and bopping along. Tom celebrated his birthday behind the drum kit. Tent Show Troubadours played 2-5 p.m. in the bucolic New Glarus setting at Bailey's Run. The big band of Bob Hoot, Geri Hamilton, Wendy Lynn Markus, John Hamilton, Doug McLeod, and Tom Ellis played to a great crowd on Oktoberfest weekend. We always love playing there.
HOOT and Hollers — Well, at least one Holler (John Hamilton) joined Bob Hoot toplay a last minute booking at McDaniel Park for a McFarland Hockey fundraiser and raffle. Really nice group of people. Thanks to Frank Busch for getting us the gig. Beautiful day in the park next to Lake Waubesa. It doesn't get any better.
HOOT and Hollers (aka Tent Show Troubadours) played 2-5 p.m. on the fabulous new outdoor stage at Paoli Mill Park. The big band of Bob Hoot (guitar/vocals). Geri Hamilton (violin/vocals), Wendy Lynn Markus (violin/vocals), John Hamilton (guitar/vocals), Doug McLeod (bass), and Tom Ellis (drums/vocals) played successive weeks. This is a fun time with appreciative audinces. Good beer, spirits and food. There's a farmers market on the morning and lots of family fun all day.
Tent Show Troubadours/HOOT and Hollers played 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. on the outdoor stage at Edge-O-Dells. Special guest Wendy Lynn Markus (violin/vocals) of Sunspot joined Geri Hamilton (violin/vocals) for some two-part violin solos, and contributed to three-part harmonies. Tom Ellis (drums) played his first big show with the full band. Bob Hoot (guitar/vocals), Doug MLeod (bass), and John Hamilton (guitar/vocals) did their part to round out the big band. A fun audience. A few dancers, an air-guitarist, and an appreciative crowd.
Tent Show Troubadours/HOOT and Hollers recorded a half dozens songs before some family and friends at Clutch Studios. Bob, Doug, Geri and John were joined by Wendy Lynn Markus of Sunspot fame. The audio/video editing is in the works. Updates to follow.

Special guest Wendy Lynn Markus (violin/vocals) of Sunspot joined Geri Hamilton (violin/vocals) for some elecrifying two part violin solos, and contributed to three-part harmonies. Ben Lokuta (drums) played his last show with us before heading back to Berklee College of Music in Boston. Bob Hoot (guitar/vocals), Doug MLeod (bass), and John Hamilton (guitar/vocals) did their part to round out the big band. This was big fun, a great audience, and a wonderful venue. The weather held off so we could complete the show on time. That said, with nature's light show in the clouds, we managed to strike the stage and pack our gear in record time.
Tent Show Troubadours/HOOT and Hollers played 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Garver Patio. Tom Ellis (drums) had a trial by fire. Tom graciously substituted on short notice, and had to cram 27 songs into a single rehearsal. Also, Wendy Lynn Markus (violin/vocals) of Sunspot helped us out. Fun show, great venue... and tasty Ian's Pizza afterward.

We'd like to thank Tim and the great crowd that turned out for this hot Sunday afternoon. We were all grateful for the breeze.

HOOT and Hollers — 7-9 p.m. H&H played one of the last shows at Fisher King. Unfortunately, this small venue had to close due to the loss of business in the pandemic. Too bad, this was a nice place to play on their patio with some very nice people and responsive audience.

HOOT and Hollers played 6-8 p.m. and had a wonderful time, even as many venues were closing down. The Hop Garden Tap Room was hopping. Appreciate crowd tapping their feet and forgetting their worries for a couple of hours.
